After 20 years of practice and 11 years of teaching I still have to keep my practice alive and interesting by going back to the ‘study’ mat. WHAT IS THIS COURSE?
In this 2-day workshop we go deep into the alignment of the body through functional anatomy and embodied yoga form and alignment. See it as a hands-on crash course in yoga alignment that is meant to have you practice with new wonder and interest. During our two days we dive into the alignment (form) of various groups of yoga postures and how you navigate a vinyasa yoga practice (flow) safer and smarter.
You receive your own personalized yoga alignment grid, which I draw onto your mat so that you can better navigate through poses with ease and confidence. Also, the ‘yoga alignment grid’ helps guide and support you in your home practice.
To keep the practice alive afterwards and practice using the lines you receive two online home practices that integrate the yoga lines for a smoother and more integrated vinyasa yoga practice.

Hi!
I’m Marie-Louise - a certified E-RYT 500 yoga teacher with 11 years of teaching experience and 20 years of practice. I’m a huge vinyasa yoga enthusiast - a total flow nerd who loves to experience my body in new and interesting ways through flow. I’m a meditation teacher, mindfulness facilitator, thai yoga masseuse as well as prenatal, postpartum and baby yoga teacher. I hold yoga trainings, retreats, workshops and events in Copenhagen as well as internationally. I teach everything from ecstatic vinyasa to floaty slow flows and nourishing restorative yoga. I’m mostly known for teaching my signature class - the Awakened Flow - an alignment-based, creative and body intelligent vinaysa class, sending students into states of flow.
In my everyday job as a yoga teacher I see a lot of people who practice in ways that are not sustaible or safe for their body in the long run. My big mission is to have as many people practicing yoga safe and smart. This will not just elevate their practice in ways that they didn’t know, it will also make them fall in love with the practice for life.
