As summer’s fiery yang energy gives way to fall’s cooler, drier, and more dynamic season, we invite you to reset and rebalance at our Late Summer Circle: Release and Recalibration.
Event Overview: Embracing Nature's Rhythm
Seasonal transitions often create a sense of imbalance as our systems adapt to changing energies. Just as nature shifts, we too must consciously align with its rhythm, which is essential for our health and well-being on all levels. This event helps you transition smoothly and intentionally from summer to fall and offers an opportunity to reconnect with these natural cycles, fostering a deep sense of harmony within yourself, preparing your body, mind, and spirit for the new season ahead.
Yoga Practice: Release & Ground
As the intensity of summer fades and autumn approaches, the rising vata (air) can leave us feeling anxious and unsettled. Our grounding and releasing yoga practice will help you shed the lingering energy of summer and anchor yourself in the fall season. This practice clears space within through twists and pranayama, while grounding you both energetically and physically with asanas and visualizations. By doing so, you open yourself to new beginnings and cultivate a balanced energy aligned with the spirit of fall.
Ceremony: Holy Burn
Following yoga, we will move into the Holy Burn ceremony, an ancient shamanistic ritual of letting go. This sacred practice allows you to symbolically release what no longer serves you, making room for renewal and transformation. The ceremony culminates around a fire in the courtyard, where you’ll send your intentions into the flames. Through guided meditation, sound bath, and intentional practice, you’ll connect with the elements of air and space, embracing the gentle flow of the fall season. We’ll conclude with a time for sharing reflections and setting intentions, offering a moment of connection and community to ground the experiences of the evening.
